The logical choice would be his father. Has Archie ever said publically that he doesn't want to coach? All I know is, Peyton and Eli initially learned from their dad, and look at where they are today.

I think he did one of those casual interviews a few years about right as Peyton came out of Tenn. I think it comes down to he doesn't have the time, he's more of the family man once he got out of football and doesn't have the time it takes and its just not for him is what I got out of it to paraphrase. But Peyton seems like he has what it takes to be a coach if you saw last nights game on the sidelines.

True, 4 or more years and somebody would love to have him as their coach. If anything starting him out as QB coach for a few years. Yes, I saw that game and didn't let the 10 spot get him down because look what happened. He just dug in and took care of business. Dreaming!!!!! I wish I could have a QB like that!!!
