Observations from Saints beating Dirty Birds

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'll gladly eat a ton of crow if Penning strings together good performances. Admittedly, the Falcons pass rush is not their strong suit, so I think we need to see more, especially against a Browns team that has Myles Garrett....

Well i will give him that he has gone from being an absolute liability at LT to a serviceable RT. That is quite the turnaround.

I would like to see Penning used more to downblock while pulling Ruiz around to the outside. Penning is big and strong and could absolutely maul Grady Jarret if given a good angle. And Ruiz is athletic enough to get around and lead on the outside.
