An important take on the Saints situation

Ladies and Gentelmen (and I use that term loosely), it is my opinion that WWL's Jim Henderson is hands down the best journalist, sports or otherwise in the South. When it comes down to the Saints, the man always has the best handle on every situation that happens with them. His commentary tonight is worth reading if you didn't get to see it. Read it two or three times and let it sink in. If you are a true blue Saints fan (and why wouldn't you be), you should heed his words, show your butt up at Tiger Stadium, and let the world know that the only home for the Saints is in Louisiana.

Henderson Commentary: Go to the Saints game, show NFL we want team
06:23 PM CDT on Thursday, October 20, 2005
Jim Henderson / WWL-TV Sports Director

A week from Sunday in Baton Rouge loyal New Orleans Saints fans will be in a win-lose situation.
And so too will Tom Benson.
If fans stay home to protest putting one more dollar in Benson's pocket, he's hurt financially but helped in his efforts to relocate in San Antonio by the perception that this region can no longer support the NFL.
If fans turn out for the game they will be aiding and abetting the enemy as they may now view Tom Benson by buying tickets but they will also be enhancing this area's chances of retaining the existing franchise or ultimately attracting a new one by the positive perception their attendance and demeanor will promote.

RE: An important take on the Saints situation

I agree, but the Saints organization is doing nothing to make it easy to buy or even find a ticket. They don't realize what they are doing. When New Orleans retains the Saints who is Mr Benson going to be friends with then. We will never forget what you are doing Mr Benson and I hope you and your entire family rot in hell because God don't play that!

I believe Ticketmaster is selling single game tickets, as well as the 4-game packs for the Tiger Stadium games.

Please post anyplace you can buy either individual or game tickets, or email that information to me at halo@blackandgold.net

I want to do an email campaign and free advertising for the organization and any outlets selling individual or season 4 game tickets.

If you know any airlines or services that would provide a discount or discounted transportation to the game, send that info also.

Thanks

I sent countless attempts for ticket exchanges and received NO response to any of my emails or faxes. When I called, they said to email or fax. I thought it was hopeless.

The other day, I finally received my tickets (out of the blue). I have tickets to all of the Baton Rouge games, so I will be attending them. I'm still waiting for my refund money for the other games.
