Watson on the move. I'll still take him over Carr.

What are you even talking about? Three years in Cleveland and the guy averages six games a year. You'd go from bad to absolutely worse just on the field alone, not even factoring in Watson's highly questionable character.

Watson is the only other quarterback in the league that actually stole more money from his team than Derek Carr.

Exactly what I said. I like him over Carr. Especially in the system Kellen Moore is likely about to implement. We like QB's who miss two and three seasons with injuries. Just drafted one.

What is he likely to implement? We don't even know yet, except that he adapts to personnel on the team, at least that's the press clippings.

Tyler had two injuries, one which should have been surgically repaired initially but for whatever reason wasn't, the clavicle injury. The other from a tackle that's now banned in both college and NFL. He was good last year and played a better schedule arguably than Colorado's. The game against the number one pick was a great game and down to the wire. The Clemson game was another. His touch on long passes looks real good. And he possesses a super quick release. And we learned he can read and process quickly, and has great pocket presence as we saw on a quick dart for a TD up the middle. I like him better than Dart since he doesn't cry like a school girl on the sidelines like Dart did this year. There is something to be said in overcoming adversity as he has so far. Coach Brohm is some sort of QB whisperer as it turns out.

I expect a motion and RPO heavy scheme that relies on quick passes and fast decision making. As far as Shough, he was okay last year. 23 TD's and 6 picks is alright. 62% completion percentage in college is...meh. Career 63% passer leaves much to be desired. I understand that the natural instinct of a fan is to view the selection with rose colored glasses and hope for the best. He's big. He's fast. He has a strong arm. He's ran a lot of systems. He's had a lot of responsibilities. Those are his positives. The ACC improved last year seeing how they've been just Clemson for years now. He didn't do much with the time he had in Texas Tech or Oregon. We already have a #1 high school prospect coming out of Arizona with tremendous arm talent...and he's younger. 6'5" always catches attention though.

Zone read. RPO slant. RPO bubble. RPO SLUGO. RPO wheel. Play action rollout flood concept into the flat and intermediate. Get defenses moving forward. Go over the top with Shaheed, Olave, and Cook. Really try to establish the run. The new age West Coast offense.

Compared to Kareem Hunt and Dalvin Cook... high praise.

I would have went Damien Martinez but Neal is a good pick this late. Raheim Sanders from South Carolina, UDFA.
