This gives us three serviceable tackles. If Penning can improve enough to be relied on then I wonder how Fuaga would do at LG. That's not my favorite option though. Give me Banks at LT, Fuaga at RT and a new LG in round three or four is the best that I can hope for.

I like the Banks pick the more I think about it. My reservations about him have to do with roster management, not Banks.

He's a prototypical left tackle, possibly with an Orlando Pace ceiling. He needs to start at LT and we know Fuaga can play RT. Penning can do fine as tackle-eligible and second string tackle.

If we try putting one of the 3 tackles at guard, it could be a dumpster fire. I'd actually be okay with drafting a guard in the 2nd to save us from ourselves!

Fuaga and Banks are going to be anchors.
McCoy is one of the best centers in the league if healthy.
Ruiz improved last year.
I'm still worried about Penning playing guard. He has terrible balance, and gets pushed back on most plays. His processing speed is as slow as his feet. Luckily, I think we have backups that can step in once he finally gets pulled.
