Re: Any Surprise?
Not surprised, because they really have no idea what they are talking about.

Re: Any Surprise?
Under the radar is the best spot to be in.
Imagine having one of those two young QBs work out for us with their rookie salary cap implications. | |

Re: Any Surprise?
Its reasonable to put the Saints bottom 5 in 2025 projections. Exactly whwre bottom 5 doesnt matter, the bottom teams are similar. The Saints are coming off a 5-12 season, were an old team during that 5-12 2024 season whose best players were old, their best young player has concussion issues that could cause him to retire with one more hit, their other best offensive skill position player is a RB turning 30, they have 0 NFL wins among QBs on their roster and none are 1st round picks nor high successful in college, and we have a rookie coach. Being ranked last is fine. Expecting the worst and hoping for the best is a reasonable approach to this season. If we win its because our young players developed great, because our old core is sure to regress at their ages, so that would be a win. If we lose, we have a high first round pick in a Qb rich draft, also a win. So its a win-win, just enjoy and relax! Not the train wreck of last year spending the max to see the senior tour trot out 5 wins.

Re: Any Surprise?
Wait and see what Vegas predicts. Although that can be off, it is a much more accurate predictor. Some on this board learned that the hard way last year

Re: Any Surprise?
One of our sportsbooks has the Saints as:
Over 5.5 wins: -106 NFC South champ: +1200 Superbowl champ: +20000 (tied for last with Browns, Giants and Titans) tempted to throw a couple of $ on the 1st one. i think we win 6-8 games. |
