Bobby needs to lower his expectations a bit on Shough in his rookie season. This is the NFL.

Things are moving much faster & he will have to process quickly.

It's going to take time.

I have to agree with Bobby having high expectations. The organization tried to sell us on this pick by harping on his preparedness, experience, and maturity. The 25 year old rookie not being ready is disappointing based on the dream they've been trying to sell. I'm not shy about saying the player we should have picked is in Cleveland. The bar is going to be really high for Shough and I hope he can handle that. I see the talent though. He's gifted af...but hey...so is Spencer.

Agreed. But I think he had some good points. Most notably was Shough on 7 vs 7 and him rolling out and creating time with no pass rush instead of finding his receiver and firing it in there. Almost hesitant because he doesn’t want to throw the pick.

That said, I really think this coaching staff is going to go with Rattler this year. By all accounts it sounds like he’s had a good showing thus far.
