this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think that Rattler will start while Shough watches and learns. Hopefully Rattler will be great but I think that by midseason this new Saints organization will feel the need to move onto their pick from this years draft in ...

Rattler led to scoring drives with the 1's but I personally feel like he should have came away with 1 TD to truly solidify himself. If he hits Shaheed on that slant maybe the conversation is different. I think Shough is a better fit for the style of offense that Kellen Moore wants to run. Spencer Rattler is more of an Air Raid QB. 4 verticals. But in short, Rattler was given a good enough chance to make a more noticeable impact.

I too think Shough fits Coach Moore’s offense better, more mobile at 6’4”, looking at the film on the whole he was more accurate. He seems process he reads well and is locked loaded to throw the chunk plays if it presents itself. Timing and accuracy have not been there yet but he has the arm vision and seems to be unafraid.
