Saints Need Our Support
OK everybody we really need to show some support for these players and I mean no bashing of this person or that person. Just show some support!!!! I know that we have really sucked on a couple of games this season so far, we also have gotten screwed on a couple of games by the refs IMPO, and until we got screwed by the refs we got two good wins. To me the only game that was really horrible was the Green Bay game. We were just basically raped in that one. Every one of the games except that one we were basically in it because nothing was like we lost by more than 20 points except GB. So lets get in their and support this team. If we are all true Black and Gold then no matter what happens during this season we should just support them. Let them know that we care about our team.

SCREW 'em... I am starting a grass roots plan of my own... LET EM GO!!!!!!!!! Promise the logo and name stays in the state, and we get a team in 2-3 years all is good with me. Hell even open it up for fans to buy shares of stock in the team... Get rid of Benson and a whole lot of other problems.

I'm not trying to defend Benson, he's made tons of mistakes. But let's face it, Benson never said anything, it was the Mayor of San Antonio that opened his trap and sounds like a jerk to me. I think what Tom Benson wrote today was good for the fans and the Gulf Coast in general. It was very decent of him to reach out. He didn't have to. |

Sometimes bad press and negative publicity is the only way to get things done. Would Mr. Benson have been as sympathetic for the fans had they not spoken out against him? Let us all remember the late Rosa Parks. Had she wrote a letter or two to the government, no one would know her name and the fight for equal rights in this country could have resulted in a very different way. Her act of defiance accomplished something, something legendary.
Passion, my friends, can not be silenced. When someone acts in a manner which is against a peoples' desire, the people will erupt, revolt, and let their stance be known. The bad publicity, the refridgerator antics, and numerous other events which occured as acts out against Mr. Benson only goes to prove how much people love this team and do not want to let the team go. |

RE: Re: RE: Saints Need Our Support
OK Everybody says screw them?? What if the Saints go 9-7? Doubtful? but you never know because yes our offense and defense have played decent recently. What if the turnovers go good our way all of a sudden and then we are winning everything in sight what are people going to say then? We suck still? We still have a good offense and good defense not the best mind you but they are good. We could be very well 4-3 right now and in the thick of the playoff hunt. Another ? In 2000 Brooks came in for the last 6 games and he and Blake shared time for the Raiders loss he was 3-2, where as Jeff Blake was 7-4. Why did we get rid of Blake? Blake was good and he proably was going to get us to the playoffs himself. Just my opinion.

I am going to see the game at Hooters in San Diego... I want to see everyone cheering everytime we turn over the ball, penalty, AB gets sacked... I seriously don't think anyone will be cheering when its 45-10.
