I said 8-8 before the season started, and was called a pessimist. But look, 8-8 didn't even make it onto this poll. Great season, eh?

My 7 - 9 is looking a bit sad and out of place too .....
Here is too having the overall first pick of the 2006 draft and then making the final selection at the # 10 spot because Hasbeen is happy with Brooks ...... |

RE: What will be the Saints Record ?
I'm having a hard time identifying which opponent wil NOT have it together to rip the Saints. We've only got the Jets and the Lions left with losing records, and having seen the Jets keep up with pretty much every opponent, and not beating themselves with turnovers and presnap penalties, that only leaves the Lions, and they're not going to go quietly into the offseason as they'll probably still be in their division hunt.
I'm staring at 2-14, though I voted 3-13. I'm proud to be a Saints fan but not proud of this team, this coaching staff, this front office or this owner. No bags for this man. |

The big problem is that the Saints have beaten themselves all season, finding a new way each time.
Those that care, cry. Others just laugh. No reason to see that changing anytime soon. The team is in mental and physical turmoil, and the fans are just in mental turmoil. So I see us going pretty much the rest of the season losing; possibly to 3-13 or 4-12. The one win or two will comes when we least expect it. A sweep of the Cats? I dunno. I dread the rest of the season, but I am always ready at kick-off time to get my fill. |
