Security and pat down searches

I just want everyone to know that the traffic situation was better at the game in Tiger Stadium, but I still saw a lot of pat down searches. I mean I don't know what they are looking for. When I visited Giant stadium there wasn't one. Also there aren't pat down searches at LSU football games.

Anyone know why they are doing them, and why they are patting down 10 year old kids at the gate?

Bizzare. So they don't do it at Giants games, home of 9-11, but they do it for Saints games in Baton Rouge... have they been doing this at the San Antonio games?

I attended the Miami game in Tiger Stadium and there was plenty of liquor to go around. I had heard they banned it, but I wasn't sure that it was true from the looks of things. There were beers everywhere. Did they let it slide on the first game or were the fans that successful in bringing beer into the stadium?

I think it may be because it's a college campus.

Then why don't you get pat down searches for LSU games? I go to those, they are at Tiger Stadium, I've never been patted down ever.

Also beer is legal at the Saints games in Tiger Stadium. You can buy it at stands all around. Doesn't make any sense.
