Congratulations go to Aaron Brooks....

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I agree. When people around this forum hear "AB gets blamed for too much", it goes through their ears as "he is completely exempt from any and all blame". Anybody with even a shred of common sense can see that ...

I agree. When people around this forum hear "AB gets blamed for too much", it goes through their ears as "he is completely exempt from any and all blame".

Anybody with even a shred of common sense can see that this season is just "one of those years". Look around. The Vikings are having "one of those years". Even the Eagles are having it. Baltimore is another example. How about the Packers?

"One of those seasons" is characterized by having nearly everything imaginable go wrong, and very little going right. In Game 1, it looked like destiny might be on our side in Carolina, but almost as soon as the opening kickoff in the NYG game, it was apparent that the ride was headed downhill.

"One of those seasons" is characterized by being on the losing side of questionable officiating for 2 weeks in a row.

"One of those seasons" is characterized by intercepting a pass, and tripping over your own teammate, resulting in a fumble, and a subsequent turnover back to the offense.

"One of those seasons" is characterized by your QB throwing more INTs than TDs, when he has never done that in the past.

"One of those seasons" is characterized by losing what many would argue is the most potent Saints offensive player in Deuce McCallister (personally I don't think we've missed him all that much, but it's still big to lose your starting RB)

"One of those seasons" is characterized by a yellow flag flying in on key 3rd down defensive stoppages.

"One of those seasons" is characterized by needing the defense to hold the opposing team's offense just ONE...MORE....TIME.........and giving up a huge play into Saints territory which pretty much seals the game.

"One of those seasons" is characterized by completing a 25 yard pass on 2nd and 26, then failing to pick up 3rd and 1, and thus punting.

"One of those seasons" is characterized by a veteran kicker missing more than one short field goal to kill momentum.
