On Sunday, the Saints took a timeout before the second play of the entire game. If you take a timeout after one play, this may be a sign your team has a problem.

#13 Panthers

Many people believe the NFC South is the best division in football, but that's a mirage caused by easy scheduling. Carolina is the only team in the NFC South with a win over a non-division opponent that currently has a winning record (New England, back in Week 2).

Don't be surprised if Buffalo upsets Carolina this week. The Bills are 4-1 at home, 0-5 on the road. The biggest difference is on defense. If we counted only home games, Buffalo would rank second in defense behind Chicago. If we counted only road games, Buffalo would rank last in defense, even worse than Houston.



#32 49ers

Check out Eli Manning's rookie numbers compared to Ken Dorsey's rookie numbers. Now consider that in Dorsey's two starts this year, the 49ers upset Tampa Bay and nearly upset Seattle. Maybe Ken Dorsey deserves a chance to be a starting quarterback in the NFL.
