this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Except Detroit has a better defense, they can actually stop the run with no problem. Hmmmmm....so, you watched the game and said that detroit could stop the run? Falcons vs. Detriot 45 rushes 256 yards 5.7 avg. Falcons vs. Saints ...

Hmmmmm....so, you watched the game and said that detroit could stop the run? Falcons vs. Detriot 45 rushes 256 yards 5.7 avg. Falcons vs. Saints 33 rushes 160 yards 4.8 avg That's apples to apples. You lose. The Falcons ran all over Detroit. 256 yards is stopping the run with no problem? I'll pull a you and challenge you to show me the analyst who said that was good. I think you must be starved for attention or something. Maybe you should go talk football with a 6th grade dodgeball player. I'm sure you could go point counterpoint quite well. I honestly can't imagine what your retort will be. |

Not apples to apples? How is us versus a team and them versus the same team not a direct comparison? You said you watched the freaking game on Thursday and then commented on how the Lions could stop the run. They gave up 250+ yards to the Falcons and you decided to give them props for their run D, which is typical. Since you are always down on our D, I provided the (relevant) stats of the head to head match ups for both teams. Seriously, what is your argument? You're the one who brought up the damn Falcons game and they got absolutely run over. You might be the worst football analyst I have ever come into contact with. I'm trying not to call names here because I don't want to piss off the mods and we are all Saints fans here, but you really can't be serious 90% of the time. Your reasoning is astounding, and I'm trying to avoid English corrections since you threatened to mess up someone's airplane the last time that happened. Take a few days off. Step back. There are alot of folks torching you and you think you're winning these arguments. I come here to talk (intelligently) about my favorite team with other Saints fans and every time I come on here, you are having these bizarre arguments based on nothing. |

Also, looking at your link....we both suck against the run. So your link is stupid as well.
We're 29th...they're 26th. Wow....you're right. They're AWESOME against the run. Clearly, their run D puts them way ahead of the saints.......somebody block this dude's IP address, so I'll stop getting roped into these moronic debates. |
