Don't worry - AB can't count that high anyway.

I think before the Saints examine the possiblity of drafting a QB in the first round, we gotta let A-Mac get at least 3 games under his belt. We got too many holes on the team to duplicate talent at the same position. Now true, it stung us when Duece went down to not have a viable back up, but we got a lot of starters than need replacement. Brooks is just one of them. So lets see if A-Mac can fill that slot and hopefully draft at another position. Besides, the Texans are more detrimined than us to lose every game from now on, so a top 3 pick might not happen anyway.

The unproven bench riders road trip to glory . A shot at a top quarterback in the draft does not come around every draft . Take the shot at Leinart and put someone who can lead this team in the huddle . |

And according to Pete Carroll, Leinhart is the best QB he's coached.

We have no shot at getting Reggie Bush in the Draft. He'll go before we get a shot.
The Cure: Fire Haslett. Hire Texas Tech Coach. Completely change the style of play. Go for speed and athleticism. Get away from huge fat guys and the power style. Try and trade Brooks. If no value use him as a backup. Draft a QB - whoever the Tech coach wants. Trade Duece and Karney. Neither fit the new style. Get max value at positions of need LB/DT. Draft a RB or pick one up in free agency - a Dunn, Barber. Westbrook style back who can catch. Go for speed and versatility. Sign Bentley. Cut Gandy. Pick up OL help in free agency. Clean house at LB. Hodge gone. Draft LBs. Lots of 'em. We don't have one NFL quality starter on the team. Let Fakir Brown go. Average at best. Keep one of Howard/Grant. Get rid of Sullivan. Loser. No desire. Sign Will Smith to a long term deal. He is a stud. Draft or sign DTs. Get rid of Carney and get a new kicker. To old. Decent kickers aren't that hard to find. |

Brooks: The Saints learning disabled QB!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been a Saints fan for a LONG time.......I am even a season ticket holder....
First: It was so pleasant standing in line at Tiger Stadium for the Miami game for an hour and a half to get my tickets(five windows to take care of a whole lot of people Second: I surely hope I can get a refund for my home away from home tickets... Third: I honestly believe that a new owner who actually knew about FOOTBALL would take over this team, that we could become winners. Fourth: I would really hate to see the Saints leave this state, because I believe that this will be the end of professional football for LA. Fifth: I believe that the coaching staff has done a good job, but LA politics prevail..... Sixth: Why was A B so good in the beginning until he started receiving the BIG bucks, then we were caught.... AND let Delhomme get away..... Seventh: I have always paid particular attention to professional quarterbacks throughout the league. I have noticed that around 99% of them are leaders. Notice that when most of them go to the sidelines after an offensive series, they will either talk to their coach, get on the phone, talk to fellow players or look at pictures from above. I don't ever recall seeing AB doing any of this during a game. It seems like it's all a joke to him (AB).. Needless to say I have been called a lot of names for being such a foolish fan, BUT I think unles we get a NEW owner and a REAL Quarterback next year, then let them get the HELL away from LA!!!!!!!!!! YES I,M P OOOOOOOO D!!!!! |
