Brooks to quit - Permanently Unmoved
Brooks says he'll quit if Saints move again
Associated Press SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Weather displaced the New Orleans Saints again Thursday, and it's getting on the nerves of quarterback Aaron Brooks. Freezing temperatures caused the Saints to move a morning walkthrough from a downtown parking lot back to the Alamodome, where the team was forced out earlier this week so the stadium could prepare for the NCAA women's volleyball tournament. Following the walkthrough - held on the Alamodome's bare concrete floor and staged near a volleyball court - the Saints returned to the high school baseball field where their newest locker rooms are located. It was just the latest disruption for the Saints, who haven't had a place to call their own since Hurricane Katrina uprooted them from New Orleans in late August. "Weird," Brooks said after finishing dressing at his locker behind the dugout on the third-base side. He expressed frustration at the number of moves. "We move one more time and I'm quitting," he said. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5152230 Whodi, aren't you up in San Antonio?? Get to work son. We need the practices to moved ONE LAST TIME. Sabatoge away my friend. |

Permanently Unmoved
I am officially not empathetic that the Saints have troubles finding practice and organisational facilities now.
Their Kenner facility is pristine and they could move back in a nanosecond. Few, if any, players homes are damaged and they could end this nomadic situation if they wanted to RIGHT NOW. If they really are committed to winning, they'd do what it takes. Obviously, this team is only interested in playing up their "victim" status. This is like the guy who intentionally slices his fingers off with a knife and wonders why he can't write his name. We are not impressed. |

Exactly. This is pathetic. I mean come on, its so plain to see Benson is trying to cut and run. I'd rather he just come out and go for it so we can drudge his name in history.
No matter what, New Orleans will be rebuilt better than ever and if Benson leaves his name will be vilified for all time. Go back to the practice facilities the state built for you. Completely pathetic. |

yeah and check this out...
90% of the damage cost paid for by insurance. Hmmm. Come on man, you can't be serious. The Alamodome and the facilities in San Antonio are sad. Benson act like nobody lives in NO anymore, and Jefferson parish is empty. Give me a break. People around here everywhere. |

Boo-freakin-hoo. These guys play a game, and they get paid better than 99.9% of Americans. Shut the hell up and just do your job. This is ridiculous. Sure, I bet it sucks to move around alot and not get to see your families. However, you're getting paid millions to play a freaking game. Get over yourselves. "Oh no! We have to drive ALL THE WAY OVER to another part of the SAME city?!?!?!" Well la-tee-freakin-da. These guys deserve to be kicked in the nuts.

I see what you guys are saying about the whining.
But, remember, suffering is relative. There are those in this world who think people complaining about no electricity are *******....just depends on your view. Pro athletes have had their asses wiped for them since late in high school (earlier sometimes). Their barometer for suffering is OTHER PRO ATHELETES. And when they look at their fellow pampered millionaires, they have it pretty bad. Not saying I agree...at all. Just the way it is. You know, I get pissed when I have to wait to get to a gas pump (after Kat).....there are people standing on top all the oil in the world waiting days for gas. That makes me kindof a *****, doesn't it? As far as Brooks goes.....get the hell off my team. To have that quote after last week is just shameful. Haul ass, big guy. |

Please lord, could you please send a tornado to that high school field so the Saints would have to move again? My son & I will be including this in our prayers tonight. If Brooks is a man of his word, this could be a miracle in the making!!!!!!!!!!!
