Mock draft
Everybody has read all the mock drafts so far. So here are my thoughts on the first two rounds:
Round 1 17. LB- E.J. Henderson, Why? We are we the weakest and most unproven at LB. I chose Henderson over Bailey for two reason. 1. He is a true middle linebacker. 2. He is polished and can have an immeadiate impact. Besides, Bailey will be gone. 18. DT- William Joseph. Why? We are weak and thin at that position. Hand will be cut on June 1st and Grady Jackson did not impress me at all last year. Joseph is the best DT on the board and has great upside, reminds of Warren Sapp, but bigger. Round 2 54. S- Troy Polamalu, Why? The trade for Tebucky Jones is looking less hopeful. Polamalu is a great leader and a hard hitter. Thoughts I passed on picking a cornerback because of the addition of Ambrose. He will give us a year or two of service and allow us to go after the big free agent conerbacks that will be available after next year, i.e. Champ Bailey. If for some reason we do complete the trade for Jones with the Patriots, look for an offensive lineman. Just in case you have some extra time, here is a link to about 50 mock drafts. http://www.hailredskins.com/MockDraft.htm To Benson: I am available, just let me know when you want me to take over as GM. |

Mock draft

The only mock draft I could find from that list that made any sense, from a Saints perspective. Everyone else had us picking offensive linemen, tight ends, Woolfolk, or even defensive ends. Woolfolk will be a second round pick, he\'s too rough around the edges for a 1st rounder. If the Saints do not pick up a CB in the 1st round, I wouldn\'t mind seeing them draft Woolfolk in the 2nd, as he is a tremendous athlete and will one day mature into a solid corner. But not in the 1st round. |
The waiting drove me mad....
I don't want to hear from those that know... Everything has changed, absolutely nothing's changed Eddie is a....draftnik? |
