Jerry Fontenot going to Atlanta!?
Heard on the radio this morning that the Saints were only going to offer Jerry the league minimun even though he asked for a very fair and not expensive salary. So the falcons are interested in him and he is going there Friday for a visit. He is even asking for a below average salary than other starting centers in the league. Do we really want to send our playbook to Atlanta over a few dollars. This is the Saints at it again and he really wanted to stay and finish with the Saints. Give him a good offer!@

Jerry Fontenot going to Atlanta!?
Couldn\'t agree more. The sad thing is that a lot of people on this board STILL think Turley was just a rambling madman when he talked about how the Saints don\'t treat the players well, how they\'re more concerned with money than winning, loyalty, etc.
But riddle me another one Yoda, or anyone else on this board... How in God\'s name can the Saints still with Venturi out of loyalty but dump every veteran player worth a damn who was here before Haslett? Seriously, name a player who was here before Haslett. Darren Howard... That\'s the only name that jumps into my mind. Bellamy? Thomas? Just wait until their contracts are up... |

Jerry Fontenot going to Atlanta!?
ummm mcafee... lmao i have no clue, i think venturi also has no clue into what he is doing, but another sad thing, i just thought of, venturi doesnt know what he is doing, but neither is mcarthey, both of their schemes are flat, and not very strong schemes on either side of the ball, its a wonder how teams didnt use and abuse us

Jerry Fontenot going to Atlanta!?
\"Champions adjust\" - whenever I hear that old saying I have to shudder thinking of the Saints. Adjusting is something that didn\'t work all season defensively and didn\'t work when it counted offensively.
On topic: I would like to see Fontenot back. Not out of loyalty, but because I think he can still play one or two good seasons at center for a low salary. I don\'t want another question mark starting. |

Jerry Fontenot going to Atlanta!?
Do anyone think Loomis is a good GM or a puppet for Tom Benson. I didn\'t like the 4th rd. trade to Cinn, I don\'t like the 6th rd. trade to Minn, And didn\'t like the Ricky Williams trade to Indy
When this draft is over I will know if I like Loomis Pay Jerry the small amount he is asking |

Ah, but we can all rest assured, I read that Venturi was going to make the defense more simple. LOL. I\'ll say it again, I like Venturi, I just think he\'s coaching out of his league. I just don\'t see him as a co-ordinator.
