UP ALL MONDAY NIGHT
I STAYED UP MONDAY TO THE VERY LAST MINUTE AND WATCHED THE GAME TO THE END. SINCE I LIVE IN THE DC AREA, I GET TO SEE VERY FEW SAINTS GAMES. LATE MONDAY NIGHT I CAME TO THE REALIZATION THAT THIS WOULD PROBABLY BE THE LAST TIME I WOULD BE WATCHING THE TEAM AS I HAVE KNOWN THEM FOR OVER HALF MY LIFE. THE ABC MONDAY NIGHTBROADCASTERS WERE COMPLAINING THAT THE SAINTS WERE DRAGGING THE GAME OUT, IN WHICH THEY HAD NO SHOT TO WIN. DID THEY EXPECT THE SAINTS TO REMAIN ON THE BENCH FOR THE LAST 10 MINUTES. VICK WAS STILL IN THE GAME WHEN THE GAME WAS BEYOND REACH, AND TOOK THE RISK AND GOT BANGED UP. ABC KEPT REPLAYING THE LATE HIT ON VICK, BUT NEVER HARPED ON THE LATE SHOTS ON AB. SOMEHOW WE HAVE TO KEEP THE FAITH!!

There are many factors that put pressure on them including, the NFL's claim to support communities, the fact that Benson has done whatever possible to make everyone know his motives, the NFL, for whatever reason(s) does not want to go to San Antonio, and the fact that the Cowboys and Texans are very close by. Sit back and relax and take a wait and see approach. Now the players association wants the team back in New Orleans at their practice facilities ASAP. They also want the team to play their entire home schedule in Louisiana, split between Baton Rouge and New Orleans (in November when the Dome is ready.) New Orleans and Louisiana will get their shot at keeping them. Just keep the faith. PS. TAKE YOUR CAPS-LOCK OFF, IT INDICATES THAT YOU ARE YELLING IN A FORUM |
