Whoever the person was on this site that said he's too "raw" is also jsut regurgitating some column he read on profootball.com...VY is the real deal...Lead the nation in passing effeciency...That's not a misprint folks

I am not sure we should draft him if he comes out though...We alrady have a great running qb that has a very accurate arm in A-Mac...Look at his stats I think A-Mac is very close to what we see with Young...I say we trade down a spot or two and take D'Brick to shore up the O-Line or take AJ Hawk in the first round

Uh??? Adrian played in how many games? How many national championships?

Hey, I like Adrian, but he's not Young.

So he was in their looker room congratulating Longhorns after the game? I didn't know that, but I'm glad to hear it.

Whatever happens, no matter how me manage to screw up the draft, that was a great game to watch. Helluva game.

Vince Young is the man, would be a fabulous pick.
Um, and Vince Young was making the Heisman pose after the game? Huh? Leinart said they couldn't get a stop when they needed it. What part was untrue?

Zero Class.

Sounded like he's been reading his own press about being the "greatest of all time" crap. He needed to sack up and like a man admit that he got beaten. Nothing like laying the blame on another unit of the team, that's some leadership to draft onto your team.

It was a postgame interview worthy of Aaron Brooks. It ranks right up there with AB's "I'm a great QB on an average team" interview.
Mr. Zero Class went into the locker room and congratulated the Longhorns on the win. Worthy of Aaron Brooks? Okay. The guy has a Heisman and 1.5 national titles, and is regarded as the best College QB of all time, as opposed to an average chump who has done NTOHING at any level. Come off it.

I'm more impressed with what LenDale White did against the Texas D than what Leinart did... Throwing floaters to 6''5" WR's and hand the ball to White or Bush, I don't think that's very impressive.

As for Young, like you said before, "body of work".. this guy carried this Texas team through and through the whole season and showed up huge in the biggest game... maybe his body of work this year was overshadowed by the media, since it was "USC all the time" since the summer.

What a load of crap. Not liking the guy is one thing, blatantly making stuff up is another. In the second half, on the first two scoring drives, Leinart's passing put them in range for White to make TD runs from inside the 10. On the third drive it was all the running game. On the fourth drive it was all Leinart's arm. At one point in the second half, he was 14/15 with 182 yards and a TD. Get real. On the game he was 29-40, for 365 yards 1 TD 1 INT against UT's defense. Yeah he blows.

Whodi, I'm not saying he blows, not at all... I'm just saying he is not that impressive a QB considering what he's got around him.

You have to admit, he's got a weak arm,a nd seems lil' fragile. He has to put a lot on a throw to go 30+yards.

As for stats, I can bring up Chris Weinke's stats, or Torretta's for that matter , whose Hurricanes went undefeated for 2 seasons...

I may very well be wrong, but my feel is that he is not going to be very good in the NFL.

'Cause the simple man pays the thrills, the bills and the pills that kill
