I also heard Chris Carter on Inside the NFL suggest that the Saints should hire Mike Sherman and bring in Favre for this season.

I thought Loomis said this would be quick. I haven't even heard of them interviewing anybody yet.

RE: Brett Favre and the New Orleans Saints

I don't know, he looked pretty good when he handed us our butts in Week 6. I think if you take away the fact that every major contributor on that team, besides Favre, was injured for most of the season, then I believe he still has a couple of years left in him, and that is all both he and the team needs. Even just one good year would suffice. He had both a depleted backfield and receiving corp. All of the pressure to make big plays were forced onto him. With the Saints he would have Horn, Stallworth, Hilton, and Duece. I really believe that a situation like that could have a great deal of potential.

Come on home BRETT! The GB offensive line was crap last year. Losses in free agancy and IR made them even worse than ours. Who better than a hall of famer to groom a young QB. Besides he does not grin after screwing up. I still do not understand why AB never got *****ed slapped for it.

On a side note, how many mistakes can a 2-bit SI writer make in a single article?

Maybe we all should apply to write for them.

Bad idea, in every way. Favre is the white Aaron Brooks. AND, he told GB he was not there to mentor Rodgers, so he would come here to mentor OUR QB, but not the one who his team drafted as his eventual replacement, whenever HE decides to retire? Mike sherman, I have no problem with. Let Favre retire. Please.
