James Fenderson or Ricky Williams?
I hope we see more of little Ricky the next game. He looked pretty good for what little he played against the Dolphins. Sorry but Fenderson looks like he has no power whatsoever - everytime he tried to run over a guy, he got knocked back immediately. I never once saw him plow through someone for a positive gain.
I know that Williams has been hurt but hopefully he is now healthy enough to showcase what he has. |

I too would like to see more of Rickey. Fenderson didn\'t impress me too much.

I think Ricky gets it on name appeal and rookie contract .
One good point is that those part time Saints fans will show up on the first game and wonder how Ricky Williams shrank ?? Blame it on the weather . |

James Fenderson or Ricky Williams?
I had the opportunity to see Ricky play in college and he was super impressive. His cutbacks were sharp and he showed good hands out of the backfield. I remember watching him on TV also when he outrushed the other Ricky Williams when Tech played Texas. The way I look at it, Fenderson and Williams are the same type of backs (third down, scatback). So why not keep the one with better speed and quickness?
P.S.- Has anyone else here played Madden 2003 for PS2? It rocks! I\'ve already won one Super Bowl in franchise mode with the black and gold! All you have to do is run Deuce on the counter! |
Hotty toddy gosh almighty who the hell are we? Hey! Flim flam, bim bam, Ole Miss by damn!

Now that we\'re thru the 3rd game, I\'d have to say Fenderson has been more impressive. He looked pretty good against the Bungles last night.

Fenderson did surprise me on that one pass which was nice. However, overall his rushing stats were unimpressive: 2 carries, 1 yard. That catch was for 33 yards. Williams stats were: 6 rushes for 19 yards. Not much better but I would like to see more of both because the depth behind Deuce really worries me. I wouldn\'t mind sitting Deuce out the next game or at least just letting him play one series in order to get a better look at Williams and Fenderson.

I TOO WOULD LIKE TO SEE WILLIAMS A LITTLE MORE. GIVE HIM A SHOT WITH THE FIRST TEAM O-LINE. THEN WE MIGHT GET A BETTER GRASP OF WHAT HE CAN REALLY DO. HE SEEMS LIKE HE HAS A LOT OF UPSIDE.

Not sure either of these guys are the answer NOW...Williams had a good college career. My nod goes to Williams.
