WHO DO WE TAKE AFTER LEINART?
Well, according to most NFL experts, it's a pretty sure thing that Houston's taking Reggie Bush & our Saints are taking Matt leinart in the 1st round. My question is who do we take in the 2nd? I'm partial to Bobby Carpenter who I think will be there. Carpenter is HUGE with good speed & great awareness. However, there will be some really good DT's & OL in the early 2nd round.

Yeah, Carpenter in the 2nd. And according to the latest draft talk, they're projecting Latui (OT-USC) to go either late 2nd or early 3rd round. How awesome would that be?

Carpenter. Abdul Hodge maybe. Eric Winston if he fell wouldn't be too bad. But we def need to think more defense in the second round, so Carpenter would be my first choice. Maybe evn Claude Wroten, since he is gonna fall. If Luis Castillo can explain off the steroid thing and still go in the first round..........

well i would like to have him too..either him or young....leinert in my opinion... will just be another one of the "great" college qbs who played with so much talent around him his stock soared and wont pan out in the NFL.....but i think that if we did trade down it would most likely be with the jets or packers but thats only if bush is still there.... and hawk might not even be available then.....

yeah i am not and haven't been huge on leinart either. something about that ND game just didn't make me love him. i kept seeing his wideouts open by like 10 or 20 yards and they didn't score because they had to wait for the ball. yeah that would suck to trade down and then not be able to get him
