I will bet a case of Dixie beer the Saints will not select Hawk with their 2nd pick in the first round. Likewise, if they trade the 2nd pick, Hawk will not be their first round pick! Are you up for the bet? Keep up the good information. |

RE: CheramieIII
On a side note, directed towards Cher: Why you so sold on this trade down? I guess it would improve some other areas of the team, but why are you so sold on it?

You got it i can get vodoo here so i just raised you that if they do not get AJ they go for D'Brickashaw Ferguson or Haloti Ngata. But I am putting my money on shock by what ever Mickey mouse does in the end. I go to houston a good bit so a stop over to drink your beer on a sunday watch in saints and talking about how we blew another draft.

RE: CheramieIII
We have all got into the argument over the last few years about the Saints drafting defense because we need it. Our defense is only a couple of players away from being one of the best in the NFL and if we can get a QB out of a trade down or 3 or 4 more picks this year we can certainly pick up a good veteran QB that can hold us over until our drafted QB from this year is ready or AMAC steps up. I do not think that Benson wants to spend the money on Matt and probably won't even if I did like the pick.

RE: CheramieIII
I think that you guys give our Corners to much credit. I think that the D is a good ways away from being really good. they need 3 LBs 2 CBs and at least one DT

RE: CheramieIII
Y really think we are only 1 linebacker and 1 DT away, once you can get some pressure on the QB and take some of the secondary the will be fine. If we can get this 2 key positions along with a QB in the draft, veteran QB by trade and offensive line the rest of the way we will be fine. Does anyone think the Bears offense strikes fear in any opponent? I think not and we have a little bit better offense already then they do.
