Eli, Peyton and Matt?
I see one huge similarity in these three guys:
1. Eli decides he doesn't want to play for San Diego. 2. Matt blames his defense for the loss. 3. Peyton blames his offensive line. He audibles way too much. They don't command respect from me anymore. That's the similarity. |

RE: Eli, Peyton and Matt?
I see another similarity:
All three are ridiculously talented QBs that have (with Eli as the lesser example) history of success. Also, Matt and Peyton were both caught in the heat of the battle, right after tough losses. If they had been given time to get over their losses, they probably wouldn't have said those things. But I agree with you on Eli, he's a baby. |

Yes I was surprised at Peyton's comments. He disappointed me.
I'm not in love with any of these guys. However we still are probably going to draft Leinart, so I'm going to support him. |

I can't see why make a big deal out of what he said... it was honest there was hardly any protection. blame the line, blame the coaching... you're going up against a team who blitz happy and is damn good and you don't prepare for they typical blitz packages they have used all season... so I spend half the game on my back... yeah I would be frustrated. I am surprised he didn't say anything about Van after missing the kick after he make comments about Manning a couple of years ago. I am not going to lose any sleep over nothing.

I agree with that one, I the O-line plays they would expect credit from the QB and RB but if they play bad then they should get to hear that as well. And with this being said, I'm an OT myself.

I am not saying that some players from time to time need critiscm but there is a time and a place for that. Peyton made a few mistakes himself and even the announcers said after the game, it is sometimes unfair to the Oline because he audibles so much. Do you think the Oline should make comments about Vanderjagt for blowing the game because ultimately that's what happened not the Oline's blocking.

RE: Eli, Peyton and Matt?
I don't hold what these guys say on or off the field, all I want is that player to be successful and to do their part to help win games..
Young is the right choice here, I think Vince has a better chance to do well in the NFL and faster than Matt |

The teams (colts & USC ) as a whole played like crap most of the game. Just say it; the team did not deserve to win. in each case that was the truth. As for eli all i can say is archie, Archie probly still wonders what it would be like if he played for a larger market team even in retirement. strickly $$$$$$$$$$$
