sure... i say every coach should get at least 2-3 years...especially when he takes over a 3-13 team.....

We were 3-13 this year with a 5 year starter at QB. You realistically expect a first year coach drafting a rookie QB to field a winning team next year? It wouldn't matter who we had as coach, it's still the same situation. How can you expect anything better than 7-9 at best next year? The guy has to have a chance to put his own team together and get rid of all the bad seeds. How can he possibly do that in one offseason? If Sherman had come here you would expect a 12-4 season, right? The closest you'll see to that kind of a miracle is what you've already see in Haslett's first year. You wanna get him back next year? |
