He may not beat TB's or Carolina's defense, but he sure can beat Mr Great in training camp!!!!

i'm still JEDI Supreme. Master yoda's master, and brooks will be the starter for 2006 with a improved coaching staff, improved defense. superbowl with aaron brooks as mvp.

There is no way we keep AB and if we do he will only be a backup and have to restructure his contract. I still don't think we need to draft Leinart but if we do we better win next year and the Saints better stay in New Orleans or everyone that supports us drafting Leinart at this point will never, ever, ever hear the end of it.

Now I don't know if i agree with this Cherm. I am of the belief that we should trade down the pick, but the reality is we probably won't. I'm not going to pin it all on Leinart if he's struggling right away. It's not his fault if we draft him. Maybe it will come draft day and the Saints will badly want to trade out of that spot. What if their top offer is from the Eagles for their first and Todd Pinkston. Should we still do it?? Heyall naw. I don't think that they should take any offer that's on the table just to move out of that spot, and they very well may be in a spot where there are no suitable trade offers. In that case i would say that drafting Leinart is the best option.

I'm not going to be totally rigid and be like "Leinart better be good if we get him". That's not totally fair. Now if it turns out that they turned down a great deal and instead decided to draft Leinart, then I would be upset.

you may not be, but i will because of the outcry for him. the 24/7 days a week for 4 years of every thing going wrong being brooks's fault. lienfart will get no freebees.

Well if Leinart says things like he's a great QB on a good team and demands top 5 QB money and throws backwards passes all while smiling yes I will criticize Leinart too. Brooks dug his own hole dude.

Hey GT, I wasn't saying that I would take it out on Leinart because I know as we speak it is going to take him 2 to 3 years to develop into the QB some people think he will be next year. I will not let the people that think that now live it down. That's what I was saying.
