Return from the RoK...

What up fellas... I just got back from a year in Korea and the last month I've been without internet or TV, so short of spending hours looking for the info, I figured I'd ask here.

1) Sean Payton - good for us?
1a) Do we have new coordinators or are Shep and Vent still the ones?

2) Status of the dome - is it gonna be ready for play next season

3) #2 overall - Offense, Defense, or trade down? (rumors and conspiracy theories welcome)

4) Status of injuries/rehab

and finally...
5) any targeted free agents (I know the season isn't over, but ya'll gotta know something)

Thanx..BB&G

RE: Return from the RoK...

Welcome back, I was in a few different places for about 2 years, good times, real good times:

1) Sean Payton - good for us?
Alot better than what we had.
1a) Do we have new coordinators or are Shep and Vent still the ones?
None yet, but possibly Gibbs from Dallas for DC.

2) Status of the dome - is it gonna be ready for play next season
All reports say it should be ready in September, so the conclusion is that the Saints should be able to play all of their home games at home.

3) #2 overall - Offense, Defense, or trade down? (rumors and conspiracy theories welcome)
Just stick around for this debate. There are several different scenarios floating around here. I like the trade down with the Titans and Jets pick up a few extra picks maybe a QB and take Hawk.

4) Status of injuries/rehab
Deuce, Stinchcomb, Fincher, Lyman should be ready to opening day.

and finally...
5) any targeted free agents (I know the season isn't over, but ya'll gotta know something)
There are several rumors here to, it will just take you a few days to catch up.

Once again welcome back.

There is a rumor R. Kelly is replacing Loomis. He may be the only guy who could piss on us more. haha. Welcome back. Most debates have centered around Leinart

RE: Return from the RoK...

lol D-buck... so I guess you've seen it too.

I think Payton will be a good addition and hopefully he'll be able to hire a good staff. Dome should be ready for next season and I think we should concentrate on the draft first before we think about free agency. Hopefully we'll be able to fill most of our needs with our picks and just sign low profile free agents to increase our depth. We have a lot of money tied up into our own players right now and with the possibility of drafting Leinart, we won't have much money left to spend. I think we have a good group of players with a lot of talent... and with the right motivation from our coaches, we should be able to contend for a playoff berth in the near future.

Ahhhhhh....all this military talk is bringing back memories. Memories of when I stormed the beaches of Los Angeles during the Battle of the Network Stars. It was pure pandemonium. I had to wade through the tug-of-war mudpits and outrun Bill Cosby on the hurdles to get to Farrah Fawcett so I could plant my flag in her.....I mean...wait...Was I thinking out loud again?
