I believe that was Mayock that said that.

So far, breaking footage down from the game, a couple names that have stood out.

Mike Hass - WR - Oregon State
Vickiel Vaughn - S - Arkansas

more to come....

Vickiel Vaughn went to my high school and played ball with my older brother. I've seen him play at both the high school and collegiate levels. The guy always seems to be around the ball, and he was definitely the leader of Arkansas' defense this last season. He is also one of the reasons why Arkansas almost pulled out the upset of LSU this season. THe guys is good. And he's kind of flying under the radar right now.

I would love to get a few of these guys, especially after drafting "The HawK". Just for your Deuce, now your turn to go off.
I would love to get a few of these guys too, all except Cutler that is. I think Leinart is the best QB since Peyton, and some people just don't like the favorite, so they try to go with the "trendy" alternative pick, in this case it's Cutler. The guy is pretty good, I'll give him that, but I just don't think he's better than Leinart, or will be a better pro than Leinart.

I would love to see one of those top 5 OLBs waiting for us at the 34th pick (especially Howard or Carpenter, even if it's highly unlikely). However, Cher, most of those guys do look good.

Few things...

1. I am scared of taking another player from UGA, just a bad feeling. (Jean-Gilles). Especially somebody's who labeled as soft and flabby (sound familiar???)
2'. D'Qwell Jackson is a complete stud, I would love to see the Saints show some interest in him.
3. Definitely don't think we need to waste one of our top two picks on a DE, no matter how good they are. I think that is the one position that we are set on.
4. Want to know more about Hank Baskett, Mr. Big, Tall and Cut.

He reminds me of a larger Bob Sanders. He looked like a missle on several hits, including one that I didn't think either player was going to walk away from. Anyone that can lay the wood like that, deserves a closer look.

Do you know how fast he is? I've been trying to find some 40 times, but may have to wait until the combine.

I couldn't find anything really current. Times from 2004 look like 4.45 to 4.5.

if that's the case, that's pretty damn good for a guy his size.

Was Maylock thankyou, was late last night, and as for "trendy alternative", having watched all three play over the past two years he, he has by far the strongest arm, good size and durability with less talent around. Reminds me of Farve, and one is entitled to there opinion. He gives the best shot at a vertical passing game. If the playbook is going to be swing passes and 15 yard slants than Lienart is a better option, but I don't see Roger Craig or Jerry Rice on the depth chart.

And personally, I thing Line backer and O line should be this years priorities.

Not sure about recent times. Ran a 4.4 when he got to Arkansas, but that was before he packed on about 30 pounds of muscle. Probably slowed him down a bit, but he probably runs 4.45-4.5 range.

So, in your expert opinion, how would you say the three quarterbacks will fair in Payton's system?
