La'Roi Glover
Hey Guys, I am a new member from Houston, Texas but I grew up in NOLA. Does anyone know anything about Glover being released from the Cowboys for Cap reasons? He was a force for us in the late 90's and would be a great fit for Gibb's defense. What do you guys think?

RE: La
I don't anything about him being released. I do know from living in Dallas that this was one guy that Parcells wasn't too high on because he wasn't big enough. I loved La'Roi, and I would love to see him in black and gold again. But I doubt that would happen.

RE: La
Guys...Guys... I keep hearing calls from beyond the grave to get thses old guys back. What are we doing? The NFL is younger and faster every year. What good would it do if we just started resigning former Saints players who are in the twilight of their career. Lets think Lienart or Hawk and some young talented FA instead of the tired old retreads.

RE: La
La'Roi is not that old and is still built like a tank and plays hard. I would take him back. Hand was a joke, but that was the last time this defence could stop the run.

RE: La
... it maybe getting younger and faster, but guys like Glover are exceptions. Glover started for that Dallas defense this year and had a productive season. Look at Bryant Young of the 49ers, Grady Jackson of the Packers, Sam Adams, Ted Washington, etc... all old and still productive. If Glover isn't asking for the moon, and is within our price range, I would be glad to see him back on this team.

RE: La
It would be very nice to have La'Roi playing for the Saints again. I think he could be very productive as a reserve player, playing on passing downs. I would not use him on running downs, as he is not, or ever was, a good run stopper. If the Saints could get him back to play on passing downs, they would probably be around the top of the NFL in sacks.

RE: La
Hello Houston. I agree with Glover but the $ has to be right. I think the cowboys will be dumping some of the DL because of last years draft was all DL. For the big switch to 3-4. but i doubt this is glovers year. maybe next year
