RE: Kiper Senior Bowl roster analysis

6 QB Jay Cutler 6-3 219 Vanderbilt
So-so accuracy. Good arm. Made all the throws. (Early Round 1)
Have heard he's been very impressive, and there's talk of him being the "best"quarterback available. I just don't buy it though. I don't think any QB with so-so accuracy can make it in the NFL, no matter how strong his arm is.

52 LB D'Qwell Jackson 6-1 227 Maryland
Not big, but tough. Flies to the ball. React well. (Round 2)
Been saying it for weeks, this is our guy. Ridiculous amount of energy, smart player, hits holes well, tackles like Ray Lewis.

55 OL Nick Mangold 6-4 296 Ohio State
Great week. Strong anchor. (Early Round 2)
Wouldn't be too disappointed with taking Mangold, and being able to move Bentley back to OG.

40 LB Thomas Howard 6-3 231 UTEP
Fast. Gifted athlete. Questionable instincts. (Round 2)
Would like to see this guy still around at #34.

21 CB Will Blackmon 6-0 191 Boston College
Has athletic skills. Suspect coverage. DB or WR? (Day 2)
Possibly one of the most intriguing guys in this draft, IMO. A year ago he was a shut-down corner, very talented (I believe he was even an impact player on NCAA 2005). This year, he had 50 something catches and was just ridiculous in their bowl game. If we took this guy, he could a) fill up one of our DB openings espcially because he's so athletic, or b) fill in at a #3 receiver. I would really like to see this guy in black and gold.

RE: Kiper Senior Bowl roster analysis

I don't know what people have against Cutler. The guy played extremely well for one of the worst programs in the NCAA, and in one of its toughest conferences.
