RE: WHO DO THE SAINTS CUT, RELEASE, OR TRADE IN OFFSEASON
Unless things change, no way the Saints suddenly turn into a club that will pay big bucks for high profile FAs like Reggie Wayne. He'd be a great pick up though. I wish they would try to get rid of Horn as well. He's going nowhere fast.
I'd hope they would grab a WR in the draft like Sinorice Moss or Skyler Green. |

I really believe if Stinchcomb comes back strong and Bentley stays with 1 more OG/C we will be OK and we can conentrate on the defense like we should have along time ago.

Bentley is fine at center.
We need a DT and two LBs, and NOW. It is the same as last year. A CB would be nice, but I think that is a luxury at this point. Of course, everyone thinks we need a QB, and, drafting where we do, not selecting a QB would appear foolish. We haven't seen A-Mac play yet, and last year many thought he was the next coming. I think we do take a QB in the 1st, but I don't see that as a necessity (as usual). We have Brooks and MacPherson right now. Neither makes my eyes light up, but with an improved defense, it is hard to say how much better we'll be. The O-Line definitely needs something. I'm not sure that it is new players. Holland, Bentley, Brown, Mayberry, and Jacox are solid. Gandy is just getting too old, and, as I recall, he has a steep contract price this year. I say, replace him. Also, I think D. Howard is gone. I'm on board with the Horn point, he may be gone. However, the man is a firestarter, and that can be good, if handled correctly. |

get bentley back to G and a 3 pt. stance. That is what cleveland is saying the would do. Look at the injuries he has and they are from the stance a center is in. Get a C through FA and the draft the only one that looked really good was Nick Mangold and his stock after the senior bowl may have him in the late 1st round. See what happens at the combine. Why is every one so sold on Mayberry for the money he gets. He is a zone blocker. he can not run for an entire quarter much less a game. Holland kept him off the field after he got back from injury anyways. Trade gandy maybe houston or detriot will take him. that or we draft a lefty QB so that will not be his blind side.
Trade Stallworth is a yes. He and Henderson are alike. 75% catch and 25% drops. I am being nice here. Horns contract makes it tuff so he will be back the team does go the way Joe goes. Transition Howard? nah injuries may scare to many off for the $$. Maybe worth a try. 50/50. Package boo and any of the above with picks and get up higher on the board on draft day. gets a thumbs up from me. Stinchcomb Holland C(?) Bentley Brown Draft LOT D'Brickashaw Ferguson or Daryn Colledge FA usually cost to much FA a C or draft Nick Mangold, Greg Eslinger or Jason Spitz |

I think Jay bellamy should be traded, and move Dwight Smith to SS and give Bullocks the job at Fs

I don't know but...I have personally never been impressed with Ernie Conwell since he became a Saint. If he is not dropping passes he is injured. You think he would be worth something as a trade? I really did like Hilton this year.
