RE: Starting Lineup for 2006

I like the Payton hiring, and I'm excited to see Gibbs and Vitt with this organization. The others I just have no clue about. I'd like to get some analysis on Marrone if anybody knows anything. We have had so many false starts and poor blocking schemes that I want to know if our new OL coach will be able to allow guys like Jammal Brown, LeCharles Bentley, and Jermaine Mayberry reach the potential that they have the opportunity to reach.

And about Joe Alley as "special projects" coach, what the hell does that mean? Like AMac?

As for special projects maybe he will make sure Benson has an umbrella when we get back on a winning track with Payton. I'm trying real hard to be optimistic . . . I am pleased that Payton brought for the most part his own group in and got rid of the deadwood like Venturi. We will be able to tell more fr4om how they approach free agency and their draft picks. One tell tale sign will be what they do with AB. Payton doesn't know how bad I want anpther X in the bus window.

I'm with you. Do you think AB will be smiling while mopping floors for a living now?

Do you really think he is qualified for such a high level job? Maybe he could find success at being an impersonator. Maybe not, he hasn't done such a good job at impersonating a QB. Oh well maybe he can find a place in the NFL Middle East (not unlike NFL Europe) playing for the Bagdad Bombers, where they wear diapers for helmets.
