I think Bellamy should stay. He is a good at helping out in the run and he would be a good backup.
Bouman is gone. He stunk as a back-up during Pre-season and as a starter after AB was benched. He is old and we have a young back-up in AMAC. He doesn't have NFL experience but he has been a star before with plenty of up-side. AB, he is a tough one. He would save us a lot. He has worn out his welcome with most fans and he did play poorly last year. But I think he can be a value. I say keep him until the Draft. We may be able to get a good pick for him, if not, we can see if we what holes we still need and cut or trade him after the draft. Conwell is old and past his prime. Cut him we have Hilton and maybe williams if he rededicatates himself. We will still need a blocking TE that we can get in FA. Mayberry was a wasted last year. We can get a G in the draft of even a FA. He was a backup, so we can get a backup with the same skills somewhere else, and it would probably be younger. Fred Thomas is not a starter. He can be a good Nickle back. But we do need a starter. Brown is not that good and he can play Nickle. If we get a starting CB via FA then I say cut or trade Thomas and put brown as a Nickle back. |
Bellamy can go... as far as Thomas, he's productive and can stay. A 4 million dollar cap charge is pretty steep though... so it's debateable if we can sign a quality corner to replace him. I think Ahmad Plummer deserves a good look this off season.

Josh Bullocks=FAR FAR FAR more range than Bellamy, and he will be in his second season, coming off a year where he didn't play poorly. So what's Bellamy's role, cheerleader? Bye bye. As far as Fred Thomas goes, salary dictates a move there, and he is like 32 or something. If he takes a paycut, cool. If not, bye bye. Again, the things you propose make me feel like you would rather this team just stay the same and suck, rather than try to improve. |
Bullocks? I don't remember him doing anything spectacular. Anyhow we obviously see these players in a different light. I remember Bellamy and Thomas comin in and doin their jobs well. As far as Dwight Smith and Bellamy I agree. Smith is much better and a better tackler but Bullocks? I thought he made a great impression of burnt toast as far as I'm concerned.

Bellamy had one good year here (the year before last)... other than that, he was average if even that. Bullocks is going to patrol our secondary for a very long time... I suggest you get use to "burnt toast". Bullocks is going to be a ball hawking playmaker for years to come.

I hope so papz. I really hope so.

Truth whodi... I watch the games. Whenever I saw Bellamy and Thomas come in (I know Bell was injured but I remember last year) they came in and played solidly. Thomas broke up numerous plays and Bellamy was good at stopping the run. How am I off?
