That said, I'm looking forward to seeing the stupid mistakes disappear (false starts, offsides, etc.) and the team play more cohesively. I think we'll lose games by less than four on average. And I'd like to see the FO take this year seriously and put money AND THOUGHT into each acquisition. I’d like to see this team end no worse than 8-8 and be even more competitive than that. It’s a tough division with Carolina always playing well, Tampa’s D never seeming to have an off year, and Vick just being Vick in Atlanta always makes for a wild game. I'd love to say this or that pickup or draft would make the team this year, but it's probably not going to happen. |

What's the base salary on Ramsey that would be inherited? 3 mil or less take him.

It's under 2mil. Not bad if he's a starter.

RE: Possibilities for a Veteran QB
Not bad at all.
Hell even as a backup, he's about the same price as Bouman and has had starting experience and some sucess. Not alot but Some. I don't think Kitna's going anywhere with the Palmer injury. |

Kitna will go where ever he's promised starting time. I don't think that'll be Cinci. and as I've said before... he's mentored a USC QB and I think he can do it again.

Ramsey or Kitna or how bout both and get rid of Bouman too, AMAC at the three. We drop 3 or 4 slots in the draft pick up a boat load of other players along with Hawk at number 5 or 6 and call it good, real good.
