That was a real good article with a lot of good information. Thanks for the post. I we cut Fred Thomas and lose Fahkir Brown to free-agency then CB becomes a need also. With Ramsey's cap number only about $1.5M, he may not be a bad option but I don't like the idea of using one of our draft choices for him.

right on SU Jag about not giving up a draft choice for Ramsey...i think the only FA worth keeping off that list is Hakim...myabe Hall for some depth at TE...Brown might be alright but he won't be cheap although he should be

i must have missed something, but i haven't seen anything that leads me to believe ramsey could be a solid starter. last qb we picked up from washington was schuler...do we really want that again.
there are not any of those FA that i would lose any sleep over losing(bently is probably gone no matter what we do). i think whitehead would be the most important to sign if i had to pick one. |

You're right Southern University in the city of Baton Rouge, La. I totally agree about Ramsey but all of the research and readings I have done lead to the guy being a good NFL QB. I think he got a raw deal in Washington with Gibbs coming in, bringing in Brunell and then drafting Jason Campbell from Auburn.
Fahkir Brown is a tough competitor for his size but jrmlb is right that we should only bring him back at a reduced rate! |

yeah ramsey resume says he should be good...I know someone that played with him and says he is a good qb...but lots of "experts thought Leaf was gonna be a champ...Its a gamble no matter what...I do think he poses less of a risk than some of the other free agents, no major injuries, has managed to know enough to start a few games and make rosters...
