Lavar Arrington Now Available!
Arrington pays 'Skins to become free agent
ESPN.com news services LaVar Arrington will become a free agent after agreeing Sunday night to pay the Washington Redskins over $4 million in cash to get out of his contract with the team. As part of the deal, the Redskins have placed Arrington on waivers. A team source said that the move would have been made irrespective of any delay in the waiver deadline Sunday evening. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2355921 I'd like this guy at the right price. I think he has a chip on his shoulder now, with something to prove since being benched in D.C. |

RE: Lavar Arrington Now Available!
Well, he can't be ALL about the money... he paid 4 million to get out of his contract with Washington. Would I want him in New Orleans? No. To many questions surround him. How is he really after his injury & time on the bench? How much of a distraction will he be in the clubhouse? Etc...

I want him. Arrington would get me exited. When he played last year, he dominated. Bockwoldt is the most exiting linebacker we have.
How much money is too much to spend on a stud linebacker? I don't know. But I sure hope that the Saints are in the bidding for him. |

He's got a tremendous amount of talent, but I question his commitment and heart. I say pass on him

I think the guy got screwed in DC, everyone knows Gibbs is an ass, they benched because he did not play "their system" but when they did let him play the guy was a playmaker...hey our gibbs isn't related to the DC Gibbs is he? i don't think he is...Sign the guy anyway as long as its not a crazy contract, a fair amount this year with performance in centives for next year kicked in by this years play and conduct...

Good linebacker that's too rich for our blood... and with a cheap owner like ours, it'll never happen. Dream on Saints fans... dream on.
