No, McKinnon is not the answer at MBL he has lost a step and a half at 33. In his prime he was one of the best. His lack of speed on pass downs was attacked all last year. But I would keep him for his motor against the run. He is still one of the best tacklers in the league. Younger LB can learn from the guy by example alone.
Carpenter i wish in the second. Adams is getting up there and his name alone will get him money we are not going to spend. Didn't the bucs cut lose their safties and sapp to keep thier younger line players and LB'S. But they had backups that could play. Who do they have that can fill in for Brooks and give them 1/2 the quality of play? Do you think, dwiley21, that Bucs will draft in round 1 a LB to replace him? |

Barrett Rudd, or is he a start at another LB spot? I thought thats why they got him in the 2nd last year.

Rudd played a bit for them last year and did well, he could be thrust into a starting role, but if the Bucs do cut and lose D Brooks and or sheldon quarles LB will be something they address in the draft.
