Panthers | Contract update: J. Hartwig

Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the contract free agent OC Justin Hartwig (Titans) agreed to Saturday, March 11, with the Carolina Panthers is for five years and worth $17 million, including a $7 million signing bonus and $11 million in the first two years. That will put Hartwig among the NFL's top five paid centers. Tennessee made a nearly identical offer to keep Hartwig, but he said he chose Carolina because he viewed them as a title contender.

dang it .... dang it .... dang it.... were freakin stupid !!!!!!!! i dont under stand i just dont why arent we getting any body good having this cap we should SHOULD be getting some great players.....

lol...people thought we were gonna let Bentley go and then pick up someone new in free agency. When does it ever happen like that for us? They'll use a 3rd or 4th round draft pick on a center.
