RE: Willie Whithead Resigned 3 Year Deal
A good backup, who can play both DE and DT, so they keep him.

RE: Willie Whithead Resigned 3 Year Deal
Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but with Sully and BYoung in the middle, I see Whitehead as being a utility kind of guy who can play DE and DT, and perhaps this means that we won't be drafting Mario... at least I hope so...

RE: Willie Whithead Resigned 3 Year Deal
Deuce, I'd like to see Whitehead rotated in at all the D-line positions to keep the starters fresh. Whitehead is a quality backup and I like the resigning.

I like Whitehead too. He's not spectacular, but he's solid. He gives a pretty good pass rush, and although his weakness at DT has been his run stopping abilities, he did improve on that last season.

I like the re-signing of Whitehead. He always seems to play all out when on the field. Definitely not the best player, but more than adequate to rotate on the line. Very versatile.

RE: Willie Whithead Resigned 3 Year Deal
i never like seeing quality backups go. that is just me. the guy can play and is in my opinion a very solid back up. i really like the resigning also. deuce i hope you are right on them not drafting mario. not that i don't like the guy but i like the idea of drafting brick and barring injury securing that tackle spot for at least some time to come. we still need a center. that i think we need to pick up in free agency

the D-Line has resigned their utility man, Whitehead (the last holdover from the Ditka era). Solid player. I'm still waiting for Sullivan to breakout........and I don't mean the buffet.
