Al Davis has officially lost his mind. He went from one sorry a** turnover prone QB with a big arm to another one. Frankly, Collins is the smarter of the two. I'm glad he's their problem now.

You guys want a good laugh? Read the article on CBS Sportsline. Here's a bit of it. Note the comment made by Alvis Whitted.
ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders found their replacement for Kerry Collins, agreeing to terms Wednesday with former New Orleans quarterback Aaron Brooks on a two-year contract worth about $8 million. The 29-year-old Brooks is expected to compete with veteran backup Marques Tuiasosopo and second-year pro Andrew Walter for Oakland's vacant starting job. Brooks was cut last week by New Orleans when the Saints signed Drew Brees, one of the most coveted free agents available this year. Brooks started 13 games for New Orleans last season, completing 240 of 431 passes for 2,882 yards and 13 touchdowns. He threw 17 interceptions. "Oh, sweet," receiver Alvis Whitted said in a phone interview. "I'm glad that we do have a new quarterback. I'm sure he'll fit right in with what we're trying to get done here. I'm sure the coaches are excited. From what I've seen of him play, he's done some great things. He's very athletic, a mobile quarterback and very intelligent, too. He's a great fit for us, and we're happy to have him." http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9329312 Now if that isn't funny, I don't know what is. |

i say arron good luck in your new job. have a good time i hope you have success finally and can prove that you really are a great qb on an average team. or were for that matter. good luck brother. ok so now that he is with the raiders can we stop the brooks posts. ummm probably not. i guess every game that brees has that is good there will be no brooks posts but everyone that he has bad will start the normal hey i told you it wasn't arrons fault.
