SAINTS SIGN GOODWIN: The Saints signed former New York Jets offensive lineman Jonathan Goodwin. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Goodwin, 27, can play guard or center, which gives the Saints some flexibility. They are seeking replacements for departed center LeCharles Bentley and departed guard Kendyl Jacox. smitty
