Hey, I have no problem with throwing Cutler up there. The more guys possible for the top 5, the more we may be able to get AJ even if we trade down twice. Once for sure, unless our first trade is to like 8, then we could miss him.

I think that if Hawk lasts that long, the 49ers will pick him at #6.

I have a question, which you'll see reflected in my mock draft, if I can ever get the damn thing posted.
Why would the Jets trade up to the #2 spot? If they are going to trade up, wouldn't it make more sense to trade up to the #1, to get Martin's replacement? |
I can't believe someone actually agrees with me. I've been saying that right there for the whole off season... and I'm sticking to it!

1. Texans - Reggie Bush
2. Titans - Matt Leinart 3. Raiders - Mario Williams 4. Jets- D'Brickashaw Ferguson 5. Packers - A.J. Hawk 6. San Fran - Vernon Davis 7. Saints - Michael Huff wildcard is Raiders for sure. 1. Texans - Reggie Bush 2. Titans - Matt Leinart 3. Raiders - Vince Young 4. Jets - Mario Williams 5. Packers - A.J. Hawk 6. San Fran - Vernon Davis 7. Saints - D'Brickashaw Ferguson |
Papz, I agree with you on the first 2 picks. I obviously see Bush going #1 like everyone else but I can see us taking Leinart and either trading him or holding onto him to see what happens with Brees. I think it is more likely that we draft Leinart and trade down as opposed to trading down before anyone is drafted at #2.

b/c i dont think they are willing to pay the price that houston would want for the top spot... they would most likely as for both first this year and their first next year... at least...
|
do we know what Houston is asking?
|
more then anyone is willing to pay
