ESPN's John Clayton reports the New Orleans Saints are extremely high on Ohio State LB A.J. Hawk. While it would be more likely for them to trade down to acquire him, there is a chance he could be selected as high as No. 2 overall.

Ok, I have a question about that. what if the saints pick A.J. Hawk how would that affect the third pick if it's Matt are vince. I mean would they be force to sign for less then Hawk even at QB. Are do they just sit out. Picking Hawk at #2 could affect everybody in the top 10 are more.

Quarterbacks command more money. The last two years' drafts will provide benchmarks for contracts. 2004 will be especially relevant with Manning, Rivers and Rothlesberger selected in the top 11.
