I know I've been selling the trade with the Jets, but in the last few days, I've come to believe we will be trading out with the Titans. 'specially after hearing how close McNair is to being gone.
I see Young as the Rivers of this draft. Everyone is hyping him as a great alternative, but in the end everyone was ready to sell their mom and draft picks to get manning. Leinart is "the guy" in this draft. Young will put butts in the seats, a la Vick, but no one sees him as that "win now" guy as they do Matt (sans Al Davis, which I still think is an option for us, but one of last resort). Jets love him, Titans love him. In the end it costs the Titans less to move, and they can easily defer a pick to next year. Terry Bradway is willing to sit and gamble, and take what ever option presents, so I say we end up at No. 3. ....to begin with..... |
