ESPN's John Clayton is reporting that the Giants and LB Lavar Arrington have agreed in principle to a 7yr. $49 deal.
This signing will alter the Giants draft plan as most had the them drafting a LB with their first round selection. |

He actually forced his way back into the starting lineup after starting it in Gibbs doghouse. People might not like his attitude, but he's still a very good linebacker.

He couldn't hold any of the aforementioned QB's jock straps! But, let's break down those "declining" last 3 seasons of Arrington's you spoke of:
2005- Arrington was kept out of the starting lineup because of personal differences w/ his coaches most of the season. 2004-Arrington was injured most of the season. How many full games did he play that year? 3 right? And then he got hurt in his 4th game? 2003-Didn't he start in the Pro Bowl that year? Now saying that he's expensive is one thing, but demeaning the man's playing ability by saying he's on the decline is another. |
