As noted yesterday, New Orleans’ officials have been steadfastly tight-lipped about their intentions with the second pick at this year’s draft where the Saints are expected to chose between NC State’s Williams and Virginia OT D’Brickashaw Ferguson. While Williams is probably the better overall prospect, there have been some very faint whispers in the past couple of days that the Saints may be leaning toward Ferguson who fills a much bigger need.
