The Texans are in the AFC South with the Colts, the Jaguars and the Titans. A great pass rusher against the likes of Manning, Leftwich and McNair/Young? Or a running back that might be able to help outscore Indianapolis?

They made the right decision. The only reason the talking heads on ESPN are so down on this is they've spent the past four months telling us Bush was the greatest player to ever come out of college and the Texans basically said, "Bulls---! All they can do is find fault with it. After all, everyone knew Houston was gonna pick Reggie Bush. right?

David Carr right Now!

David Carr mid way through the season,

And by the end of the year.

I feel bad for the guy, they should have traded the pick and got him some protection!

Oh, like you've never gotten information from the television or a newspaper. You think of everything all by yourself, huh, sunnyboy? Good, then you can invest a little more time in spelling and punctuation, ok?

I'm saying they fixed one of their problems. Their defense is awful. And maybe they didn't get any trade offers that were with enough value. Did you ever think of that? Probably not. Go do some homework. There's a reason why quality defensive ends get big bucks. Hell, the Falcons O-line isn't that great--Wayne Gandy,etc.--yet they basically gave up their first round pick this year to get John Abraham. Now why would they do that?

BTW, it does matter who you're playing against. You're smarter than that. so why make such an ignorant statement? Anyway you cares? They didn't draft Bush and hopefully we'll get a great offer for the second pick so we can get two quality players instead of just one. After all, the Saints need some help in a lot of places too.

whoa there... a "great" pass rusher"? Who's great? Williams? The guy rarely showed up on games against good teams. He got the bulk of his stats playing against borderline 1-AA teams. And because of this, no one outside NC ever iheard of him before the combine. Heck, I'm in NC and never heard of the guy before the combine.

Outside of Bush, the right pick for the Texans would've been D'Brick. That's THE need in Houston, o-line.

'Cause the simple man pays the thrills, the bills and the pills that kill

Hey dude, what gives or bordeline insult... I merely call your so called quotes into question, after all I guess if I wanted an opinion to you I would have to give you one. You quoted me first there bub. In the offseason you aren't playing against anyone excpet yourself but you do that more than most I am sure. I am all for trading down my friend... Bush alone doesn't make us a playoff contender we still have to play the games. As bad as they played a DE isn't going to help them at all... its very obvious that when your line sucks, you aren't going to move the ball. If you don't move the ball, your D is going to be on the field a lot and you can only hold a good team down for so long... so the common sense here would lead you to believe that lets work on the OL if anywheres... hmmm.

Look, your posts are extremely tiresome to read. So never mind. I'm sorry I even responded to you. I won't make that mistake again. BTW, there was no borderline insult. It was a definite insult. Jeeez...
