I am also glad to see that Benson isn't being cheap and has told Loomis to pay Bush and get him signed quick. These are all things that we should be excited about. I think we ALL know that we had multiple holes to fill but we did the best with the cards that we were dealt.

I'm not saying everyone has to be yippety yippetty yay all the time but geez... I have to wonder...do you even enjoy being a football fan??? It seems that you live in depression and pessimism and you are in constant pain. |

We most definitely got better...Reggie Bush is now our 3rd receiver, kick returner and backup running back. Jeff Faine strengthens the line and allows us to have depth with Nesbit and Goodwin on the bench. The Harper pick allows us to move Smith to corner and gives us depth at safety with Scott, Bullocks, Bellamy, and Stoutmire. So really, we may have boosted our CB's, S, OL, RB, and WR with only 2 picks...to me it could be a great day of work...or it could all be crap.

Good post JB. Glad to see you back on the board by the way.
It seems to me that the new regime is really focusing on special teams and I'm fine with that. Special teams is by far the most underrated 1/3 of the three units in football. It will get your offense closer to the endzone and give your defense more field to preserve. Or maybe I'm just trying to ease the pain.. |
