RE: Payton... days are counting...
C'mon Euph. At least give the guy a chance. They have brought in Brees, drafted Bush and picked up a starting center and got some help on the D-Line. They also picked up Fujita and Simmons.
Patient you must be. |

RE: Payton... days are counting...
2 years is is being patient. Brees I'll give you a draw on... Bush fell into our laps, we the Jets are doing exactly what we need to be doing. The center is average at best I would say just below average but I'll give you a draw on that as well. FA's I'll give you that but this draft is blowing. Can he now get this team to win???

RE: Payton... days are counting...
Euph, Faine is better at center than Nesbit. Now Nesbit can be guard, where he is better suited playing, and also be a back-up center.
We aren't all going to agree with Coach P's decisons right now. Let's see how they do with the rest of the draft and FA. No matter what, this team is going to better than last year. At least admit that. Coach P is getting some players that can contribute now and some guys that can be contributers in a couple years. |

RE: Payton... days are counting...
All the coaches are doing that but most are getting players without reaching for them. hey I am giving him 2 years to get some of these guys in this draft to start if not SEE YA. I don't want to wait 7-8-10 years from now when Bush is a hasbeen, lets make a run for a SB while we can.

The title to this thread should be "Saints Support Group Thread".
My name is Iceshack149 and I am a Saints fan. "Hi Iceshack"... The second day has been kinder to me. I like getting Hollis Thomas, though I would like to have gotten Jean-Giles. I haven't got any clue. I'm not physically there to analyze talent at games or at the combine. I should stop fooling myself into believing that I'M the one that should be making the calls. We've got an OT, WR, and finally a CB. Hass by the way makes me think of Chrebet. I'll be happy if he turns out to be like him. Great hands. DE again? We'll see. He's been refered to as a tweener and a good special teams option. I feel better already. Thanks for listening guys. Got a tissue? |

I give Peyton 10 years max, if he continues to make the good moves that he has made in this years offseason and continues to improve the coaching staff like he did this year. I'm very pleased, overall, with the progress and know that miracles happen overnight but not usualy Rudy stories. So, I'm settling for what already looks like a miracle to me with the improved defence right off the bat and improved offence right off the bat which will easily make our 14th ranked Defence a top 10er this year.. So, I'm pumped, looking at the facts. Would i like to gt a Ty Law to REALY make me feel fully confident on our chances at a playoff/championship run, hell yeah.. but we cant fix everything in one offseason, especialy considering how terrible the organisation has been in recent years. Some of you guys are bing unrealistic in your expectations and it's kinda offending to see so I am being as little unrealistic with my optimism but it more then makes up for the unrealistic negativety from some of you.
